Mu-nopoly board game materials and an augmented reality view.

The research question

How can a board game support museum edutainment, and how does its medium affect the experience?

What we explored

Guided by a Playing–Learning–Socializing framework, Mu-nopoly uses eight artifacts from the Museum of Wu. A study with 32 participants compared card and AR versions.

Why this work matters

The card version better supported sensory and imaginative immersion and flow, informing how museums choose interaction media for playful learning.
